coz it's not a normal srt and this type is the only one did work in my multimedia hard drive.

which program R U talking about? Do U mean the program I use to open the movies with the subtitles or the how did i make the subtitle file or U mean anything else?

but , I guess that my subtitle worked with U because of the encoding as I find everybody else use the ANSI coding but I write it in the UNICODE & this works with all the systems.

Maybe U have a problem with the encoding of your codecs program if so , tell me about your system like : ( vista , xp , linux , etc... ) & your codecs program & I'll tell U how to change the encoding or the language type if U couldn't

that's all i can tell , if anybody else has another reply plz tell us

actually i've got such an external hard drive in da same time it's multimedia hard drive ...which plays movies directlly on TV

so i have no problem with playin da movie wiv subtitle on my computer ..

4 my multimedia hard drive i used to convert srt to sub+idx till i've downloaded ur srt file and it did work without convertin stuff so that's why i was wonderin...!!!!

but now after ur answer i found da solution through a little programe called EmEditor, so what i need to do is to save srt file again as UTF-16 format  :)
