انا استطيع ترجمة أفلام لكنها تطول معاي في الغالب بسبب انشغالي ، لذلك ابحث عن اشياء جاهزه .

ساظطر آسفا لترجمة الفيلم بنفسي ونشره هنا بصيغة سهله . ولست أهتم بسرقة او نسبة ترجماتي لأحد . هذي اعتبرها تفاهات .

what's wrong with TXT or STR ?

why should I do 5 steps to see the translation ?

why should I download 2 files ?

by the way : part2 is corrupted, in both subtitles.

Why don't you make a better .srt subtitle then?

Nobody forces you to download anything. If you don't like it or find it too complicated, just don't download it.

Obviously you didn't follow the instructions, since the files are not corrupted at all. It can't be too difficult to save both rar files to disk and then opening 154281.rar. It is a working subtitle.

للي مو عارفين الطريقة ( حسب ما فهمت واكتشفتها بعد عشرين محاوله ) ::

ضع الملفين مع بعض في نفس المجلد

 ( 153065.rar  و 153066.rar  )

بعدها فك الضغط عن الملف الاول فقط اللي اسمه

153065.rar 

 و بكذا راح يفك لك ضغط الملفين مع بعض اوتوماتيك .يعني لا تفك الضغط عن المجلد الثاني .

 So what did you not understand? "My way" is the ONLY way to upload an IDX subtitle that is a little bit bigger here on subscene IN ONE FILE. I can't change the technical background or file size limits of our site, I just say how it is. Good or bad, doesn't matter. It's the only way right now.

As for unpacking 2 (or more) parts, it really IS SIMPLE. Since the name of the rar archive is constantly changing, you just have to make sure that the first part is named part1.rar and the second (and third...etc) is named part2.rar. (Or any other name ending with 1,2....etc.) Then open the first one, just as you always do when you download a scene release (films etc)

So which part do you find misleading/confusing/hard to get?  Honestly, I've lost any feeling for it being difficult 'cause I do it so often, so please tell me. Might be useful for a Howto.

I will write a tutorial if I can find the time. Maybe that'll help...maybe somebody will actually read it, who knows?

it's my mistake at the first place 'cos the torrent version is different( mine is :The Happening[2008]DvDrip R5[Eng]-NikonXp ).

Now with IDX file I can't change the time to match my version. do you feel me brother ?

I have to download another torrent or wait for another subtitle (which match my version )

all the subtitles I have downloaded until now was lease that 100 KB !!

I think the 1.900 KB is because ( coloring and other enhancments which we dont need actually ).

IDX/sub (or vobsub)subtitles are overlay pictures, not text. If you want to learn more, have a look around on the web. That's why they are much larger than .srt.

But they also have advantages: many people have trouble viewing Arabic or other non-Western text subtitles, and that will not happen with IDX.

Anyway, this is not about what I prefer (and I do prefer small text subtitles), it's up to the uploader to decide which format they use. We just provide a platform for all the subtitles.

Same goes for the complicated upload procedure: I don't like it, but it's not up to me to change the size limits. 

Now that I know what you want, I have a solution for your problem, because there are ways to change the timing of IDX subtitles. I'll tell you, but it's not easy, so please don't complain, okay?

How to synchronize an IDX/SUB (Vobsub) subtitle

One way to do it: use subresync, which is part of the vobsub package. (Make sure you've got a .idx and a .sub with the same name in the same folder). Open the .idx, choose the language (I don't know if that's necessary but let's make sure)

If you just need to shift the subtitle forward or backward, you click on the first text line and enter a new value in hh:mm:ss.xxx format. Then you right-click in front of the time until a red arrow appears that points downward. Now save the subtitle, either as idx/sub or convert to other formats if you wish.

If it's more complicated and the subtitle is faster or slower than the film, you enter a new time for the first line, then right-click in front of it until a green dot appears. Then you do the same with the last line of text, including the green dot.

Save the subtitle. Done.

green dot= Fixed position

red arrow pointing upward=all lines before this one will be shifted depending on the time you entered.

Example: original time was 00:03:20,000 and you changed it to 00:04:10,500 means that all subtitles will be shifted by 50.500 seconds. Got it?

red arrow pointing downward=all lines after this one will be shifted depending on the time you entered.

I used to shift the time using subtitle workstation.

Now I need another tool.

I can't find vobsub package in the first place , 'cos I'm using classic media player, which don't have any sync tools any where.

there is a saying "if I can't drive, why do you buy me a car?" ( I think it's not chiness).
