This is for the last (final) edition from 2008 that you can download here for free:
http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/dloads.htm
I am not sure the subtitle is in sync, so it would be nice if somebody could give some feedback.
thanks alot you help me and not just me and other
keep it up
The subtitle is fine in the beginning but as the movie progresses the subtitle gets out of synch.
For example in 1.36.43 the subtitle is ~1,5sec after the voice.
Well, it's not easy to sync it correctly if you can't read/understand a language. :-(
Would you please upload a synced version, then I'll delete this one. Thanks in advance. :-)
Thanks a lot "Rogard" for trying to synchronize the subtitle. However, I have synchronized & edited it, till (00:25:14,880 --> 00:25:19,317). It took me a very long time to do so & I will upload the file & wish to continue synchronizing later, or give someone else the oportunity to continue what is already contributed.
I have edited it by opening the English subtitle file there ( http://subscene.com/english/Zeitgeist-The-Movie-Final-Edition/subtitle-153922.aspx#comments ) in a "Notepad", that was completely synchronized with the movie version, then I opened the Arabic subtitle in an another "Notepad", compared the translation & the durations using another opened "Notepad".

( http://subscene.com/english/Zeitgeist-The-Movie-Final-Edition/subtitle-153922.aspx#comments )

I just have a serious problem! I don't know how to upload a subtitle file to the site?
عندي فقط مشكلة كبيرة! لا أعلم كيف أقوم بتحميل ملف الترجمة المعدّل على الموقف؟
Appreciated. It shouldn't be too hard to re-sync the subtitle using timeadjuster. I can't do it because I don't speak Arabic. All you need is the time for the first and the last line of text, and the rest is done automatically. It only takes a few minutes. Try it... :-)
Thanks for replying. I think I should explain to you what I am doing to expect how would you try to help me.
I tried that program you gave me, but I'm facing three problem:
1- Subtitle-files that are encoded as UTF-8 can't work on it. (I really need the subtitle-file to be encoded as UTF-8, because there are some transliterations that need special letters that are not supported using the ASCII version.) Note: UTF-8 decoding works normally on computer & also has the advantage that computer users won't have to manually modify their codec/decoder to be able to render the Arabic characters, encoded in ASCII, correctly instead of strange latin characters that would appear.
2- I want to copy all the wrest of the duration times of the English subtitle-file, starting from ([228] 00:25:14,880 --> 00:25:19,317) till the end, & paste them into the Arabic subtitle-file, to be synchronized, because the English file is already synchronized.
3- There are three empty steps ([229], [300], [301]) that are empty as a result of synchronizing the previous steps from the beginning of the movie; that made this gap. I want to put the wrest of the subtitles, starting from [232] into [229], [233] into [230], [234] into [231].... & so on, till the end into those empty steps (after copying the durations from the English subtitle-file). Doing this manually exhausts me a lot.
Thanks a lot for aiding me with that program you gave me, but I really wish I can find something that do these three processes that I couldn't do using that program :(
I still don't know how to upload the file after finishing the synchronization on subscene.com ?
I desperately need to share this movie with more people who don't speak English well, nor have the access for such information.
dear rogers thnx , u r making a marvelous work , keep it on finally i've managed to finish this awkward job , i sync'ed the sub , also made some translation for the first english part , many thanx to the original translator he made a huge job . thnx for your time
Great Thanks.. :-)
Now I can finally delete my version which was out of sync and partly in English.
Cheers
