 I'm having some sort of problem with using the aXXo subtitles, for any of his movies, they just will not play.

What is the problem?

what sort of problem are you having?

How do I add the subtitles when burning to Nero 7?

Are you converting the avi into a dvd movie or just burning as data?

Personally I use VSO ConvertXtoDVD

It's a much better avi-dvd converter.

 @all

make sure the name of the subtitle is exactly the same as the film.

@september74

Nero 7 can't burn subtitles as far as I know. Use different software.

 The names are exactly the same.

When I try to hit play, it won't do anything, it's like on a pause.

If I download a movie from someone else other than aXXo and then use their subscene subtitles, they work perfectly.

It seems that only the aXXo rips aren't doing well with the subs.

so you're converting them?

If so, you definitely need to try VSO ConvertXtoDVD

I've never had a problem using it and as long as the subtitle file is the same name and in the same folder, VSO automatically adds it to the movie

Hey, OK So I Took The Sub And Muxed It To The Video...Which Worked Turning It Into A .mkv...But I Want To Convert It To An .avi So I Can Then Convert It To .mp4 for iPhone Viewing Purposes, But When I Converted It To .avi The Sub Didn't Convert With It.....And My Question Is Why?

What does the video file and .srt file need to be converted to?

If you want to convert and MKV file to AVI try using MKV2VOB

it's VERY fast.

 http://www.mkv2vob.com/

It all depends on what you plan on watching it on.

If you only plan on watching it in your dvd player, you can use ConvertXtoDVD

Personally I bought a DivX dvd player. Costs the same as a regular dvd player but it plays AVI movies. It even plays the SRT files.

 'm using Windows Media Player.

All the .srt files for all the other movies work, just not this one :p

Did the same thing with Jurrassic Park 1 and 3 :(

Are you sure it's a proper srt file?

I really have no idea why it won't play.

Try downloading VLC Media player. It's free and plays everything.

 I guess it doesn't matter then, I'll just try to go without.

 @Konrey: I've had it before, I used WMP with latest K-Lite Codec Pack and the movie did not play (just black screen). Then i'm now using K-Lite CP 3.45 (old version) that include DivX Decoder and problem solved.You can try it.

 @ElDorado80: Thanks for this subtitle. Voted Good!
