My only disappointment is the movie company that distributed this on DVD without including English subtitles as an option. I would have paid a lot of money to buy it, but looks as if their short sightedness, poor business marketing skills, and stupidity has shown itself here.

Why is Thailand not proud of their best of 2007 film? It won a lot of awards and I think it’s a fantastic movie.

Once again thank you for making my dream of watching it with English subtitles come true.

For those that are having problems burning DVD’s. I used the software ConvertXtoDVD

Which took the 3 movie files, Love.of.Siam.cd1.avi, Love.of.Siam.cd2.avi, Love.of.Siam.cd3.avi, Plus your three subtitle files, Love.of.Siam.cd1.srt,

Love.of.Siam.cd2.srt and Love.of.Siam.cd2.srt which created a great looking English subtitle screen which I chose to create as yellow text.

1. I only helped with this subtitle, 95% of the praise go to ppp1 who did the translation.

 2. unfortunately, this subtitle is an older version, but I don't have the time to take ppp1's latest version and adapt it for the 3 CD release. Volunteers?

hey there... well, I have to take credit too... hehehehe,... I just started wining that I wanted it badly and ppp1, ashley and rogard came to my rescue. Thank God !!  I am telling you, I am seeding a Hi Def version of LOVE OF SIAM and it is far superior to the 3 VCD quality plus you get to use the latest subtitles supplied by those guys. I use ConvertXtoDVD also and I made the most beautiful DVD.  You are right, I have seen the awards that these Thia movies have taken.  LOVE OF SIAM got best picture as well as others and BANGKOK LOVE STORY got some awards too.(BTW, a phenomenal movie IMHO!!) You can find the high quality version of LOVE OF SIAM if you look hard enough. 

    Now, I heard today that they don't even plan on releasing English subtitles for the Director's cut which is to be released on DVD on March 28th... right around the corner.  What the hell are they doing?  Maybe someone will by the rights to LOVE OF SIAM like it did with BANGKOK LOVE STORY and rerelease it on DVD in the proper fashion. I am sure they will have to pay an awful lot for the rights to the movie.

If anyone is particularly interested in finding a site with a GREAT x264 encoded hi def digital copy of LOVE OF SIAM including subtitles (I would use the latest subtitles version on this site provided by ppp1 and rogard) just IM me and I will be happy to IM you a link back.

  You will need to register on the site and it may take 12 hours or so.  I am here to help if you need it.  This is a phenomenal movie that cannot be missed. (this is NOT the 3 VCD version, this is a 1.4 gigabyte AVI version of extremely high quality... Hats off to whomever ripped it!!.. I cannot take any credit.)

OMG.... I need the lyrics to Endless Night and I will be done with the translations !!! I can't find the lyrics ANYWHERE on the net... can anyone help???

ok ... the newest, most complete and easy to follow subtitles have been released for LOVE OF SIAM.  Director's cut will be next so hang tight... it is going to be a bumpy ride !! ;-)

GET RID OF THAT VCD 3 DISC VERSION.... GET THE REAL THING... X264 FORMAT AVI that is considered hi def.  only 1.4 gig.  awesome pic and sound. and with the new subtitles, you cannot lose !!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok, the last version I am releasing is the one with ALL the lyrics to the songs in the movie which are included. (FYI, the "Forever" or "Endless Night" song may be far from exact translation but I was not striving for an exact translation, only something that complimented what was trying to be communicated) Thank you Watt for your help with the translation. I did what you said.

  Oh, can I tell you that I just love this director. quite talented and gifted. Chukiat Sakveerakul.  You have touch so many of us. (ah, but WHY that ending?)

Sawasdee !! I'm so glad I finally found this website. And so happy jing jing I read your comments ! I was desesperate, asking to my friends from Thailand to send me the DVD, but it is a very low quality and no sbtitles at all : impossible for me to show this incredible movie to my friends in France. But since I read what you wrote, I feel like there is a hope. As you will shortly know, I really have no skill in using a computer. I just know the basic. So could you please tell me as you would do for a child how to download the love of siam from internet, in AVI and with english subtitles pleaaaaaase. Thanks a lot for that. And if you know anything about translating a movie, please tell me how to do, because I really want to create french subtitles for it. You'd be very kind.
