How can i make a .srt to move 10 seconds forward?

Hello, can anyone explain to me how can i modify a .srt to play along with my film?

Sometimes i need to forward +10 or 20 seconds, sometimes - 10 or 20 seconds

Is there an easy way to tell a program to change the whole .srt to +10 seconds???

Thanks

timeadjuster or

 subtitle workshop or

submagic. Thats what I use.

Or any other of the hundreds of freeware programs around. Google gives several 100.000 hits ;-)

I;m going to use Submagic then

Can you give me some steps how to fix the sync?

Thanks

open submagic

open film

open subtitle

see how much difference there is

"synchronize" ("All subtitles")

move whole subtitle by xxx.x seconds sooner or later.

Compare, if needed, do it again until it fits.

save subtitle.

done.

Thanks for the tutorial!

But when playing with Submagic the .srt  is fine!!!

But with BsPlayer is out of sync

 ??

 Any ideas?

I haven't used BSplayer in a long while, but I seem to remember that there was a fixed delay you could enter for the subtitles...but then, I wouldn't know a use of that anyways.

Have you tried other players?

Are you using ffdshow or vobsub, too?

If the subtitles plays all right in submagic, the problem is not the subtitle but somewhere on your end, I guess.

ffdshow or vobsub, what for?

i have divx codec, xvid, ac3 filter, ogg.

P.S. Yes , Bsplayer lets you correct the subtitle,

It happens not too often with a film, the other films no problem

What happens is when i forward the film 10 seconds the subs don't go along with those seconds

As i said, for the rest of my films OK!

The film is 2.5 GB and i guess it's my laptop because when i forward those 10 seconds it gets a bit frozzen...

I wonder why in Submagic when moving forward or backward the subtitles stay the same??

Thanks anyway
