yes i have renamed the subtitle like the name of the movie but when i play the movie no subtitle appears when i chose it manuallly give me error when i tried to fixed it with subtittle tool

it gives me an error in line 6 that's all i can tell

 I checked it with 2 subtitle programs (Subtitle workshop and submagic). No problem at line 6, only at the end, but that doesn't matter.

The  subtitle is displayed alright. I use ffdshow. I don't know what's wrong, but it seems to be at your end.

What player do use ? I tried the subs with Windows Media Player and they work just fine. Is this the first time you have such a problem ? Have a look at this link and make sure you have downloaded DirectVobSub.
