i think this rule is not a big problem, i'm from Asia but i still speak Eng to improve my Eng skill,& i think  everyone should do the same

 But there are some big problems inside this site.This site seem not enough staff to support translators. i have been requesting a loz of movie sub for a long time. But now, i have to  translate it by myself :((:((:((

 the demand is always larger than the supply. So, should someone ask the admin to do sth to ameliorate this situation ????

 The subject here before one month, and this is the first time i know about this rule! 

So I'm suggesting to send a private message to all users asking them to post in english.

LOL our job is not to make subtitles ! We admins do... well, administrative job. We check for machine translation / bad / fake / wrongly titled / duplicate subtitles . We also check for bad users e.g users who spam, or people who curses other users. That is our job. Most of the translation comes from the wonderful people out there who spent their time to make and share the subtitles here at SubScene :)

 No I don't think it's neccsessary to have all posts in English. I'm from Vietnam, and I always use VIetnamese to comment on Vietnamese subtitles. And if that subtitle has some problems, like fake, superbad quality... then I'll use English to report it.

I agree with rogard. I speak Spanish at home and I have nothing to complain about writing and share stuff with people from any place. It's very important to keep an international flavor so anybody can access the website. There isn't possible moderate a forum if anybody uses their native language and that is a fact. It seems to be very selfish to talk in a language for oneself or share a thought only with a couple of persons.

@diabloman: I am sure the Vietnamese are dying to know what Arabs are saying in their posts too !

So, instead of anybody "dying" why don't we all just speak English ?!
