The.X.Files.I.Want.to.Believe.DVDRip.XviD-ALLiANCE - English

If you open the subs in an editor (such as Subtitle Workshop, as opposed to notepad) it will trigger a "the file is a bad subtitle or an unsupported format" warning, or, if you have it setup to "interpret invalid files as plain text" the following single line will appear: "ÿþ1".

Apaprently, this is caused by the file being saved in unicode format, which, apart from causing files of twice the size, is unreadable to subtitle editors.

Am usin UNICODE cos someof the characters wont be displayed correctly if i had used ascii..

If you had lost to me in upping the subtitle then no prob..Next time il give it up to you..But don unnecessarily diss on someone when you don know what you are talking about.

I'd suggest you upload unicode AND ascii versions of the files. Unicode is useless in most cases as it is not compatible with subeditors or standalone players.

And by the way, I don't compete in subtitle-uploading. Bascically I've only uploaded a few subs not already on the site or bad subs I've had to rip, fix, spell-check or re-sync.

Thank you.
