Firstly, I confirmed with the lone wolf Rogard about this matter and he approved it. Please note I'm not spamming-- I'm just informing of one of the side-projects I'm on and hoping that you'll be interested. My intentions are for recruiting new people to help us with TV subtitles.
If you really love watching TV, I'm sure you know about Addic7ed. It's one of the most famous communities here and yes, we deliver the fastest subs. The Addic7ed community is very helpful and well, they're trying to break down the social barrier between subbers by the use of micro-blogging, forums for all subbers, IRC, Facebook, Twitter and a TV blog info site is coming sooner. Plus, Addic7ed is based on Wikisubtitles-- which means real-time subs!
However, we need more recruits who can help our website. Please reply back if you are:
a) Able to sync subtitles. We'll teach you how to do it but you have to promise to show us you have the willpower to do them since syncing them may resort to nervous breakdowns.. (heh, j/k)
b) Able to upload subtitles from different languages. Well, this will resort to spamming about the website on Subscene, however we're planning to make Addic7ed the biggest TV subtitle database-- not the biggest subtitle DB. If you really hate TVSubs, for the fact that the rating system and subs suck badly, please join us.
c) Able to edit English subtitles. Yep, we need people to help us. We already have one corrector, so we need more. It won't take more than 15-20 mins if you're correcting an episode, and if you really love it, why not show your appreciation by helping us out in giving better edited subs to other fans of the show?
d) Able to translate subtitles. Well, since the translation feature is real-time, feel free to translate subtitles and let them appear on the main page as soon as you click the Save button. There isn't any other better system than real-time translation-- seriously!!
