Subtitle Help (Playback\Resync)

need help

i have english subtitle (srt) then i translate to indonesian with translate.google.com so when i copying n pasting to notepad then save as srt. but it's can't be loaded when i play with media playwer classic, even when i load with subtitle workshop : 'bad subtitle/unsupport format' .

any one help me, please... n thank's before.

Subs are intentionally missing on Inglourious Basterds (2009) in these parts:

1. at a farm German officers arrive and speak briefly before the Colnel shouts to the farmer Perrier LaPadite

That is unsubtitled on purpose as per the script, which reads: "The NAZI DRIVER has walked around the automobile, and opened the door for his superior. The NAZI OFFICER says to The Driver in UNSUBTITLED GERMAN; ..."

2. during a conversation in a cafe with Susanna, Fredrick Zoller is approached by an excited German officer

That is unsubtitled on purpose as per the script, which reads: "... They make a fuss over him in UNSUBTITLED GERMAN, which nether Shosanna, or the non German speaking members of the movies audience, can understand."

can anybody tell me how to bring the subtitles on the screen while playing a downloaded movie in VLC?

I have downloaded the subtitles file which is in SRT format.

As example: babylon5 and farscape... also others... but i'm sure is MY problem... but... dunno why others sub (not from him) are great and work perfectly.

Sinistral subs are dvdrip, so they have 2 work... plz help... i find his subs are desynced not of a regular lapse of time, they may vary from 3 to 18 secs... it's my progam (VLC last ver)? some hints on how to solve it? (he is the main subber of the best series i look for so... i need to solve with his subs)

I just received a link to the latest gaupol version 0.15 for windows. Finally!

Gaupol is an awesome subtitle editor that I am using all the time, mainly to spell-check subtitles.

You should give it a try. It's also available for *nix, and it might even run on Mac OS.

Speaking of quality: If you guys use subrip, you should definitely also use its inbuilt error corection. It's in the subtitle window under Corrections / Post OCR SPelling Corections.

Problem/ No subtitle in .MKV files ! please help

Hi,

I have a .MKV video ( 720p ), and as normal I changed the name of the video file as same as the subtitle file. But the Media Player don't show me the subtitle, and the green icon don't appear, yet the ( Haali Media Splitter ), so, i try to change some setting here, but no different, it shwos me ( No Subtitle !! )

could anyone help me to solve this problem? or give me another way to run the ( srt ) subtitle on ( MKV 720p ) video???

Help Required: AVI File doesn't play after putting .srt file in folder

I am using WMP with K Lite Codec Pack (having vobsub). I am facing a strange problem. I have downloaed .srt files and placed them with the .avi files.

For some, movies play with subtitles but for some they don't play altogether and as soon as I delete the .srt files movie starts playing again. Is there a problem with .avi file or with .srt file.

I tried to analyse using Subtitle Workshop but to no avail. I analysed for both the working files and as well as non-working files.

Please help.

TV-series with subs

Hi,

I have the series and the subs but I can't figure out how to burn them onto a dvd. I'm using DVD Flick and have converted the series, but still the sound are delayed on the finished product.

What can I do?

newbie question - subtitles not working/showing

I downloaded a film that would not play in windows media player, so I downloaded DivX and that fixed the problem. Now I need to address the missing subtitles. Film is an avi file and the subtitles I got here are .srt. They are both in the same folder. Is there software I need to get the subtitles to show.

xena: warrior princess out of sync

I downloaded Xena: Warrior Princess from sharethefiles.com and then downloaded the subtitles from tvsubtitles.net and a set from here (subscene).
The problem is that the words are not in sync with the show.
It only seems to be season one that is not in sync.
Is there any way I can get some subtitles that are in sync with the show?

Can anyone help/
