Hi everybody.....

First of all I'd like to thank all those who are working at this site for their efforts in improving its quality on one hand,and recently, on the other hand, preserving the rights and credits of the translators by deleting their stolen subs, the thing which I won't say that it prevented that bad behavior, but at least deminshed it noticebly...and as being a translator, I say that such athing made alot of translators to regain the confidence of the credibility of that site to puplish their work here.......sorry for that long intro., but I just see that we should be thankfull for good work as we criticize the bad ones.

The main object I wanted to talk about here at this post is the notification of the Private Messages...I noticed that new PMs that I receive have no notification alerts or something like that, &I only notice my new PMs here by-luck by ckecking my PMs inbox, the thing that makes me checks it every while and that thing is so annoying actually...So I need to know if there is an option already exists &I don't notice to alerts me for new PMs, and if it dosen't exists I hope that webmaster and admins of here take in mind for achieving more reliability of that site.

I like your intro... :-) I'm glad that our efforts are being noticed, and we will continue to try to protect the original translators' hard work.

As for the pm notification, that's already on the long list of suggestions we've been requesting from our webmaster for the future...I'd like to have a blinking red signal for new pm's. There is no hidden way to enable an existing notification other than activating your email notification for the pm's.

You should receive a mail to the mail address you gave when you registered here, whenever somebody contacts you, is that not the case?

I can confirm that Rogard among others has requested this, and his love of red symbols (and blinking) always get a mention lol :)

Im hoping for it to be included with the next point release of the underlying system that powers the community - Community Server.

I was wondering if there is also a way to know if private messages have been picked up by recipients. Most private messages are not responded to and there is no telling if they were read at all. Depending on "views" won't help as the message is viewed by both sender and recipient.

Currently its not possible - if you receive no response, try emailling them (if their email is valid) :)

Blinking signal is a good idea to indicate new incoming pms.  Displaying the number of unread pms would also be essential, like what they did on youtube.

I'd also like to suggest a search window on every subpage,  it's pretty common these days, no offense ;D
