Example:

729
01:11:50,231 --> 01:11:52,768
Along with a half-eaten roll of
wint o green Life-savers.

"wint 0 green Life-savers" is like Polo Mint.

In Retail Sub:

719
01:11:50,106 --> 01:11:52,143
Along with a half-eaten roll of Lifesavers.

Other example:

741
01:12:23,264 --> 01:12:25,284
You scared of me because
you can't control me.

In Retail Sub:

730
01:12:23,339 --> 01:12:25,059
You're scared because you can't control me.

And many more...

Works quite well for 'Man.Of.Steel.2013.BluRay.720p.x264-Felony'

And thanks for illustrating that retail subs are not always ideal. I can understand that Eng subs of foreign language films will often be a paraphrased translation instead of a literal one, but it's a bit disorienting to read Eng subs that don't match up with the words spoken. Unless the issue is overlapping or too fast or concentrated dialogue I prefer a literal subtitling.

Thanks, it works perfectly but I have a question for you,

I don't know why you've put the following examples in comments:

Dragonborn

01:12:23,264 --> 01:12:25,284
You scared of me because
you can't control me.

In Retail Sub:

730
01:12:23,339 --> 01:12:25,059
You're scared because you can't control me.

but I'm guessing that you mean you've corrected the wrongs of the studio, right?

if so, please try a bit harder to not to make grammatical mistakes, some people use subtitles to better their English.

Dragonborn

You scared of me because
you can't control me.

while it has to be "You're Scared" not "You Scared of Me"

thanks and keep up the good work

I know, thanks, it was my mistake, I'm too relied on my hearing.

one that has been fixed:

482
00:52:30,006 --> 00:52:31,417
All of the friends of a friend...

In Retail:

477
00:52:30,381 --> 00:52:31,792
The friends of a friend...

• 10/17/2013 4:03 PM

18
00:03:17,290 --> 00:03:20,867
The rest of you will be tried
and punished accordingly.

Don't you guys think it should be like this:

18
00:03:17,290 --> 00:03:20,867
The rest of you will be trialed
and punished accordingly.

Thank you so much. There are really a lot of people that contribute to subscene, and few of them really accept criticsm. But you man, you even appreciate the corrections. You are so rock man.
